Naas CBS students perform for Edmund Rice trust

Naas CBS music students have performed at three Edmund Rice Schools Trust events this year to date. The first took place in the Killashee House Hotel at the Principals Conference on September 27 when they performed three songs including “One Day Like This “ by Elbow .

As a result they were then invited to play for the ERST Religious Education Teachers conference on October 11.

To celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the birth of Edmund Rice an evening of music film and keynote addresses took place in the National Convention Centre on Saturday October 20.

The school were honoured to be invited to perform on the night .

They gave an outstanding performance on and later met the former President of Ireland , Mary McAleese who was a special guest on the night .

Congratulations to all the boys involved and a special thanks to teachers Mary McCabe and Sharon Power for their dedication and commitment.
