Caragh couple celebrate 40th wedding anniversary

NAAS couple Timmy and Kate Conway recently celebrated 40 years of marriage.
The couple, who now live in Caragh, marked their ruby wedding anniversary with family and friends at The Bridgewater Inn, Canal View, Sallins.
An accountant, Timmy Conway is well known in Naas. He is a former councillor who ran initially as a Labour Party councillor and later represented the now defunct Progressive Democrats and more recently as an independent.
He was a member of both Kildare County Council, Naas Town council and was a member of Seanad Eireann. Timmy has also written poetry and has had a collection published.
Kate is also involved in community groups most notably the Vincent De Paul organisation. Kate is chairperson of the Naas Vincent De Paul, which has a shop premises at Friary Road.
