Anything Goes in Clane

After many months of hard work under the guidance of Arthur McGauran (director), David McGauran (musical director) and Deirdre Browne (choreographer) the cast and crew of Clane Musical Society lift the anchor on the societies 26th Musical production 'Anything Goes' on the 14th March 2009.

There are a number of very well know songs written by Cole Porter in the musical - 'You're the Top', 'I get a kick out of You', 'Friendship' and of course 'Anything Goes'.

Elaine Moore-O'Donohue will be playing the role of Reno Sweeney and Aidan Donoghue will play the part of Billy Crocker.

Moonface Martin will be played by William Lacey. Tony McCarthy will play Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Hope Harcourt will be played by Roisin Deady and Aine Grace will play her mother Evangeline Harcourt.

Elisha Whitney will be played by Val Brennan. Trish McMahon will play Erma the gangster's moll.

Eamon Clifford as Captain and Jonathan Hillyer as the Purser will ensure that the SS America will set sail from the Abbey every night at 8pm between March 14 and 21.

Tickets are available from Marron's Pharmacy, Clane and also by contacting Anne Noonan (087-6897376). Don't forget to book early to avoid disappointment.
