Fáilte Ireland, in conjunction with North Kildare Chamber, last week held a ‘Sense of Place’ workshop in the Maudlins Hotel, in Naas. The Mayor of Naas, William O’Callaghan welcomed the attendees who included a number of owners, managers and frontline staff of businesses in the Kildare area together with members of the North Kildare Chamber.
Speaking at the workshop, Fáilte Ireland’s Derek Dolan said: “The reason for organising this workshop, was to ensure that local Kildare providers give tourists visiting Kildare the best possible service wherever they go in the area, be it the local shop, restaurant or accommodation provider.”
