Naas store handbag snatch warning

SHOPPERS have been warned against leaving handbags exposed in shopping trolleys while they visit stores, writes Paul O’Meara.

An Aldi customer had a small amount of money taken from her bag as she shopped in the Naas store, Newbridge Road, on January 16 at 1.15pm.

Meanwhile a door key was stolen from a clothing store in Naas.

The incident occurred at the Mexx store, Dublin Road, on January 23 when a male entered the premises and said he wanted to use the toilet. He took the front door key as he walked out. He is described as being Irish, six feet tall and wearing a navy bomber jacket and a basketball cap.
