Congratulations to Monasterevin GFC on winning the IFC county Final on 13 October by defeating Raheens in Newbridge. Monasterevin town was deserted on Saturday as many had traveled to support them and the Minor team .
The winning team was escorted back to Monasterevin by a big convoy of cars and celebrations went on late into the night in the club pavillion. Hard luck to the minors who fought so gallantly in the final.
