Vintage Run for Day Care Centre

The 3rd Annual Vintage Tractor, Car and Bike Run, in aid of Rathangan Day Care Centre, takes place this year on Sunday February 24.

The entry fee is €20 per vehicle, with

refreshments in the Day Care Centre afterwards and a raffle for spot prizes and a special draw for competitors.

These Vintage Runs are colourful events and provide an opportunity

for enthusiasts to show off their pride and joy.

L B D C Newsletter

Val Cross, Secretary of Lullymore, Barnaran, Drumsru Cappinargid, L B D C Community alert has given us a copy of their excellent 3rd annual Newsletter detailing their very

extensive activities over the past year.

Already they are making plans for a Gathering Event which will take place during the first weekend in August and they are hoping that everyone will encourage friends and family to visit L B D C for the occasion.

Stephen Whittle is co-ordinating plans, so if you would like to getinvolved in the organising or have ideas on what should be included, please contact Stephen on 087 9928909. The Group’s next Committee meeting is on Thursday week February 7 at 8pm, all welcome.
