Edenderry Day-Care Centre

Edenderry Day-care Centre is based at Ofalia House, Edenderry. We provide a daily service from Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm, including clinical care, chiropody, hairdressing service, full dinner and refreshments, arts & crafts, bingo, cards, painting. Fight Night

Edenderry GAA and Derry Rovers Football Club are coming together to form their own ‘Fight Night’ on Easter Saturday night March 30. This all-ticket affair promises to be a massive event as the two clubs battle it out. The GAA Club has selected their boxers and they are currently seeking sponsorship. Each boxer will be required to pass a medical and will undergo a six-week training regime with Edenderry Boxing Club to ensure he is ready for the fight. Please support the boxers in their effort to raise sponsorship funds in the coming weeks.

Membership

Membership for 2013 is now due and can be paid to any committee member. All players, coaches and committee members are reminded that they must have their membership paid by Sunday, 31st March 2013. This date is also important for everyone as it is the cut-off date for members to be registered to vote at next years AGM and to nominate, or be nominated, for elected positions within the club. You can also pay online at www.edenderrygaa.com. As announced at the recent AGM the full membership rates for the year are as follows: Family €80; Adult Player €75; Student (U23) Player €35; Youth Player (U18) €30; Cúl Redz €20; Non Playing Adult €20; Senior Citizen €5

Adult Football Training

Training for the Senior & Junior Football Teams resumes on Friday, 1st February. The first session will commence in Edenderry GAA field at 7.30pm.

Trip to Lourdes

The Annual Edenderry Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place from Wednesday, 17th July for seven nights. Pilgrims will stay at Hotel Solitude on the banks of the river Gave. The cost is €779 per person inclusive. A single room supplement is €210. Fr. P.J. McEvoy P.P. Edenderry & Rhode will be travelling as Spiritual Director on the Pilgrimage.
