Sympathy
Sympathy is extended to school teacher Geraldine Whyte and familty on the death of her mother last week.
Birdie who was predeceased by her husband Joe is mourned by daughters Jennifer, Brid, Geraldine and Martina, sons Liam, brother Pat and many relatives and friends.
Funeral took place in Davidstown on Wednesday January 23rd 2013.
May she rest in peace.
Yoga for Beginners has started

Volunteers sought for meals on Wheels
The new rota for meals on wheels is being drawn up for 2013 and volunteers are being sought.
The meals are cooked on a Tuesday morning in the Jonathan Swift Hall and then distributed to Dunlavin, Donard and the Glen of Imaal.
If anyone would like to volunteer to cook or drive they would be very welcome.

Violin and Cello lessons
From January there are a few vacancies in Children’s Cello and Violin lessons, which take place in Dunlavin National
School.
Violin lessons are on Saturdays and Cello lessons on Tuesday afternoons.
Instruments are available for hire.

Dunlavin Community Playschool Carer and Toddler Group
Dunlavin Community playschool are starting up a new Carer and Toddler
Group.
The group will meet every Thursday from 1-3pm in the
playschool.
This is a great opportunity to meet other parents and have
a chat over a cup of tea while the children play.
It also helps
introduce young children to the playschool and makes it easier for when they start.
Parents, Carers and Grandparents welcome.
