If you’re looking to get fit for the new year, then newly-formed Clane Athletics Club, which is about to launch its Adult Section this week, could be for you.

Using the Fit For Life Program, the group are inviting adults to two open nights, this coming Thursday, January 24 and next Tuesday, January 29 at 7pm at the Clane Community School.

The group hopes to launch a juvenile section in February.

“We have had great interest in the club already and are really excited about it,” Jenny Millea told the Leinster
Leader.

“We are affiliated to the Athletics Association of Ireland.”

The Fit For Life Programme will run every every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 7pm.

There are three levels, catered for beginners, intermediate and advanced, aimed at helping people progress through the various levels. Membership is €20 per annum.
