Sallins Community Games

Swimming

Congratulations to all the swimmers who took part in the Sallins Community Games Swimming events on Saturday at K Leisure in Naas. Some of the races were very close at the finish. The first, second and third placed competitors all go forward to compete in the County Finals in Athy on June 9th.

A special mention to our youngest competitor, Conor Farrell who took first place in the Under 8’s Frontcrawl.

Hopefully we’ll hear more from all of our competitors as they progress through the different age groups in the years to come.

Football

Well done to the U10 boys B team who are through to the County Final following their win over St. Brigid’s on Monday evening. Unfortunately the U12 girls lost out to St. Conleths on Friday evening.

Athletics

We will be holding our Athletics competition on Bank Holiday Monday, May 7th in the Sallins GAA Park starting at 3pm. Any assistance from parents who are available on the evening would be greatly appreciated.
