Daffodil day

Congratulations to Rainsford Hendy who celebrated his 25th year organising Daffodil Day in aid of Cancer, and this year his total donations reached an amazing €2,120. Rainsford would like to say a huge “thank you” to all who donated so generously.

Grangenolvin GFC

Underage training

Training for children aged 4 – 12 years of age every Saturday morning from 11 – 12 in grange pitch. New players welcome. Refreshment provided for all children and tea or coffee and a chat for the parents. Call down Saturday all welcome.

Mens training

Training for Adult men continues on Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm. New members welcome.

Women’s walking/exercise

The Grange walking/exercise group has generated great interest. People have been turning out in good numbers. For information regarding same please contact Sabrina Dooley on 087/3220792.

Walking group

The Walking Group meets on Monday and Wednesday evenings at the High Cross Inn at 8:00pm. Participants are invited to donate one euro a night in support of St Brigid’s Hospice Kildare.

Cards

Cards in aid of Parish funds in Moone Parish Hall every tuesday evening at 9pm, Single hand 25, Top score €75. All card players welcome.

Croi Anu Creative Centre

In July Croi Anu has the privilege of hosting Dr Carla Hannaford on her first visit to Ireland. Award winning author and educator, Dr. Carla Hannaford has been sought after as an inspiring and knowledgeable lecturer, consultant and workshop leader to 40 countries world-wide, quoted in more than 1,000 journals and books, and author of 4 books, all of which are translated into many languages. Courses: Physiology of learning and Vision Circles. The Course will take place on July 14 and 15 - Physiology of Learning and the cost is €175 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Carla Hannaford reveals the science behind the many ways to support or enhance perception and learning. Participants will understand how movement, the senses, and the electromagnetic energy of the heart, in combination with the whole human nervous system, affect learning from utero through our golden years. This is an experiential course where participants will learn particular movements that enhance their ability to focus, process and communicate without stress. This will be a very active two days of discovering the keys to whole-brain whole-body connections.July 16, 17, 18 Vision Circles €200 - Day 1 - 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Day 2 - 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Day 3 - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. We promise you won’t get tired-- the class is very energizing!
