Clane Library

The Library will be closed on Thursday 3rd May and will re-open on Tuesday 22nd May.

Clane Festival

A celebration of Music will take place in the Moat Theatre, Naas on Friday 11th May at 8pm. All the artists on the Tír Na NÓg CD (just recently launched) will take part on the night. Call 086-0619086.

A Musical Evening with Liam Lawton

Liam will be joined by local choirs and friends in Clane Parish Church on 17th May at 7.30pm. Tickets Adults €10, Children €5 & Family Ticket €20. In aid of Clane & Rathcoffey Parish Development Fund.

Fr. John Sullivan Mass

To commemorate the anniversary of Fr. John Sullivan, mass will be celebrated in Clongowes Wood College on Sunday 13th May 2012 at 3.00pm. Principal Celebrant: Fr. Conor Harper. The anointing of the sick and the blessing with the Cross of Fr. John Sullivan will take place immediately after the Mass.

Clane GAA

Bingo is on every Tuesday night @ 8.30pm. The Jackpot is starting @ €1,500 and there will also be many Cash Prizes each week. All Welcome! A variety play night in conjunction with the Boys School, Girls School and Clane GAA took place on Fri 20th April in the club. It was a great night and many thanks to the Abbey Players Group. All Club members are reminded that membership is now due for 2012. The following rates apply: Full Playing Membership €80, Full Membership €70, Family Membership €120, Juvenile €50, Social €35, Student/Apprentice €50. Remember if you are a player and have not paid by 31st March, you will not be covered by insurance. New members always welcome. Need new playing gear for the start of the season: Club merchandise is available in the club shop on Thursday nights from 8pm & Saturday mornings from 11.30am. 10% discount on regular stock along with many special offers including some stock been sold at half price. Gift vouchers also available. Underage football & hurling training has resumed for both boys & girls. The Tiny Tots football is in the Scoil Mhuire Community School Hall on Sat 4th February at 10.30am and will continue every Saturday morning whilst the underage hurling is up in Clongowes on a Wednesday night - All new players are welcome to come down.
