Communion

First Holy Communion will for Suncroft National School will take place in Suncroft Church on Saturday May 6 at 10.30am, and we are remembering the First Holy Communicants from 2nd class in our Prayers and hope they enjoy a lovely day.

The pupils are Carly Connolly, Rachel Brown, Tádgh Delaney, Emma Doyle, Frankie Doyle, Joy Duggan, Evan Elders, Kallum Hanly, Taylor Hughes,Louise McKenna, Mary Millot, Emily Murphy, Ben Sinnott, Athena Socratous, Emma Stynes, and Elliott Whelan.

Suncroft National School are open for enrolments and have a limited number of places available. Enrolment forms can be obtained from the school by ringing 045 441041 or calling to the school during office hours 9.00 a.m. to 12.00”

Green Flag

Suncroft National School will be picking up their new Green Flag on Monday May 21st at an Awards Ceremony in the Croke Park Conference Centre in Dublin. This will be their third Green flag. The pupils and staff are delighted with this great achievement.

Foroige Club

Crochta na Gréine le Chéile Foroige club,Suncroft meet every Friday evening in Suncroft school. It caters for young people from 12 years to 18. The aim of the club is to bring young people together in a fun environment and encourage them to become active in their own community. They welcome new members.

Suncroft Soccer

Training takes place every tuesday and thursday evenings at 7pm in Community Grounds, Suncroft and new members welcome. Membership fee is set at €50 payable before season starts.

Ballyshannon Communion

The children from 2nd class will be receiving their First Holy Communion on Saturday May 6 in Suncroft Parish Church at 10.30am and we wish them all the best, and hope they enjoy a beautiful day.

Workshop on Titanic

The pupils of the school had a very interesting and fun workshop about ‘Titanic’ recently, and we would like to thank the facilitator Michael Moylan. We look forward to another workshop with Michael when we will be learning about Science.

Tesco vouchers

If you have any spare Tesco vouchers the school would greatly appreciate them.

Cross Country Race

Well done to everyone who took part in the Cross Country race, the FAI 5-a-side soccer and Cumann na mBunscol games. All enjoyed a great time.

Mini Company

The pupils from 5th and 6th class are busy with their mini company. They are in the process of making a CD , which we hope to have on sale soon and we look forward to your support.

Dancing classes

The Premier School of Dancing hold classes in Ballyshannon Hall - Adult Reflex, gentle and whole body exercises, and Ballet Classes. Childrens classes include Ballet and Tap. For further information contact 045 485369.
