Sallins Gaa Lotto Results for Monday 4th February 2013. The draw was held in The Mill and the jackpot was €2200. The numbers drawn were 12, 22 and 26 and there was no winner. The €40 winners drawn on the night were: Liam Quirke, Mick Shanley, Rose Mc Kiverigan, Alannah Rawlins and Tom Farrell. Next weeks draw will be held in The Railway Inn and the Jackpot will be €2350.

Sult na Sollán

Sult na Sollán was set-up in Sallins (Na Sollán) in 2009 to promote Irish traditional music, the Irish language and Irish culture in general in the Sallins area. The group has gone from strength to strength over recent years and now has two local Irish traditional

music groups playing under its wing - Sult andFonn Nua. On the third Friday of every month, one or both of these trad groups host an open traditional music session in one of the pubs in Sallins – usually in

Flanagan’s Mill or in the Railway Inn. Sult na Sollánalso run Irish language classes for adults, and run an Irish language bricfeasta as Gaeilge every Saturday morning. Further details, including contact

The second half of the kids soccer season, which runs up to May has just commenced and all teams are back training. Following a meeting with Irish Rail, NASRUG Spokesperson, James Lawless, has now reached an agreement with Irish Rail that the morning

gap in timetable (between 8.16 and 8.50am) will be addressed. James remains in discussion with IR on the other items.

Table quiz

Grace’s Pub in Naas is the venue for what promises to be a brilliant night for a very worthy cause.

All proceeds from this table quiz will go to the Princess Leah fund, to help little Leah Taaffe in her battle with cancer. Come along on Wednesday February 20 at 8.30pm. Table of four costs E40. The special event is being run as a separate fundraiser for Leah, by the Relay for Life Kildare committee.
