BEREAVEMENT

Sincere sympathy goes to the family of Pattie Bermingham Kilcloon who died recently. She was a much loved wife,mother,grandmother and sister. Burial was in Kilcloon cemetery. Ar Ndheis De Go Raibh si.

CONGRATULATIONS

Warmest congratulations goes to Aishling Noone (Tirmoghan) and Jane Healy (Newtown) on receiving their John Paul 11 awards,along with all the other young people from the diocese,at a ceremony in Carlow recently.

A BIG THANK YOU

ALMAS (Children affected by Aids and Poverty) wish to thank Mrs Margaret O Neill,Courtown Road,for her generous donation of £600 from the sale of her homemade jam and marmalade. Thanks to all who sold and bought the jam. All monies goes towards feeding and clothing the poorest of the poor.

LIBRARY UPDATE

Parent and Toddler Story time for pre-school children takes place in the library on Thursday mornings from 9.30am to 10.30 am. Knitting Club on Thursday mornings also from 11.30am to 1pm.
