Storytime with Carmel
Every Friday at 11 – 11.30 am there is have storytime with Carmel at Kildare library. This popular event has been running for years. Carmel reads stories to 0 – 5yr olds. Everyone is welcome. No booking necessary.
South Kildare Citizens Information Service are in Kildare Town Library on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month from 2 – 4 pm. Citizens Information Services (CIS) provide the face-to-face service to the public. Citizens Information Services provide free, impartial and confidential information relating to social services.
THE GREAT LOCKOUT 1913 - 2013
Historians Mario Corrigan and James Durney will present a talk on ‘The Great Lockout 1913 – 2013’ on Friday 22nd February at 6pm hosted by Kildare Town Library Think Tank. Everyone is welcome.
ART EXHIBITION BY LOCAL ARTISTS FROM RATH STUDIO
A group of local artists and students from Rath studio, Rathangan are exhibiting some of their work in Kildare Town Library for 6 weeks. The exhibition showcases some of the best work created by these emerging and established artists who are all living in Kildare.
Coder Dojo in town
Lets get Kildare Town coding! CoderDojo will commence shortly in Kildare Town. CoderDojo is a free Irish led, global movement of coding clubs for young people. Come learn or teach to code, hack, develop websites, apps, games and more!

Kildare town players hit the jackpot on Sunday February 3rd in the county championships. They had three teams competing on the day: Anne Gleeson/Theresa Broughall in the Ladies doubles, Mark Cauldwell/Anne Gleeson in mixed doubles and Mark Cauldwell in the open singles. All three teams made it through to the finals Congratulations. In Div 1 of the League Kildare got 5 points from Baltinglass and are now only 1 behind Ardclough.
Youth Club Hub

Pilgrimage to Medjugorje
